ARRIVING

Putting the above address in your GPS will bring you straight to The Garden, our building in downtown Decatur. Look for the New Eden Church banners waving out front, and you’ll know you’re in the right place.

PARKING

All surrounding parking spots around our building are available and open to the public, unless clearly labeled otherwise. Public parking is readily available on Sunday mornings. Look for the best parking on either side of Bank Street, and just north of our building on Lafayette Street. See the map below for details.

WALKING IN

Please use the left door, as it is the main entrance. There will be someone to greet you and answer any questions you might have.

COFFEE

We will have locally roasted, freshly brewed coffee ready and available for you in the lobby.

RESTROOMS

All restrooms are single-use and family friendly. There is one up front in the lobby, and two through the Gathering Room in the back of the building. The one up front has a baby changing table for those who need it.

THE GATHERING ROOM

The Gathering Room is directly through the double doors in the lobby. Check out the Welcome Table once you come through the doors and continue on to find a seat.

For those who have young kids, they are welcome to attend our New Eden Kids’ classes (details below), but they are also more than welcome to stay with you for the entirety of our gathering. We don’t mind the extra noise. :)

If you need a space to step out for a few minutes with your child, or a space to nurse your baby, the front lobby has plenty of comfortable seating, and is a low traffic area during the gathering. There is also limited seating in the Back Hall at the back of the building.

NEW EDEN KIDS

Once you come into the building, turn through the door directly to your right into the Genesis Room, and there will be someone to greet you and check your children in. If it is your first time, we will help walk you through the Check-In Process. Currently, we offer classes for children through 2nd Grade.

After checking in, those in the Preschool Class (3-4 yrs) and the School Age Class (K-2nd Grade) will stay with their parents through the first song set (typically three songs). After that, we will dismiss kids back to their classes for the remainder of the time. Kids in the Infants & Toddlers Class (0-2 yrs) will go to class immediately after they are checked in and stay in class the whole time.
